Lesson Information - Getting Started
Now accepting new students, ages 3+. Beginners and transfers of all levels are welcome. Whether your goal is to personally enjoy playing the violin, help your child build excellent character traits, or start a journey towards becoming a professional violinist, Passage Violin Studio can help you achieve your mission.
To book a lesson, select a lesson option and follow the prompts to choose an open slot. I’ll be in touch!
All beginner lessons must be in person (at least through completion of Book 2). If intermediate or advanced students are interested in exploring virtual lessons, book a slot and include that request in your booking notes.
Private lessons
Private lessons allow the student to receive individualized coaching while having the full attention of the instructor, and are the best vehicle for making rapid progress.
Beginners can choose the 25 minute lesson option, but as skills grow, they’ll require additional lesson time; it's typically clear when this becomes a need.
A parent or guardian Home Coach is required to attend & be attentive in lessons for beginners, and this habit is still extremely helpful for helping intermediate players to absorb coaching and apply it during home practice.
Group lessons
Beginners may opt for a group Pre-Twinkle lesson style:
40 min for 2-4 students
55 min for 4-8 students
If a group of non-beginner students at a similar skill level wishes to do buddy lessons or group lessons, that is a possibility as well (please inquire).
